Our carriers target large value homeowners, high value cars, and accompanying lines of business. We have the ability to write the entire account or can consider homeowners, auto, or jewelry on a stand-alone basis in some situations.

Our Personal Lines offers coverage and underwriting experience with insurance companies rated "A-" or better by A.M. Best. These companies have the proven claims handling experience and service that your clients expect and deserve! Our Underwriters have the expertise, sense of urgency and the ability to work with you in placing coverage for your most important personal lines clients.

Please send your Personal Lines submissions to Personal Lines Team Lead Sarah Cadle at scadle@halcyonuw.com. Be sure to include ACORD apps for all lines of business, the Halcyon Homeowner's Supplemental Application, wind mitigation Information, and prior claims history.

Personal Lines Parameters:
Miscellaneous - personal lines3
  • Minimum dwelling amounts from $500,000+ (Chubb and Fireman's Fund) and $500,000 (for Coastal and Inland Lexington)
  • Minimum condo/renters value is $150,000 (Combined A&A and Contents)
  • Wind and hail coverage is available for inland counties and most coastal counties (non-cat premium required)
  • Homes must be fully shuttered or have approved impact glass in most coastal regions to qualify for wind and hail coverage
  • Standalone automobile coverage is available
  • Total account rounding is recommended
Ineligible Business:
  • Homeowners Dwelling Coverage below $500,000
  • Excess Liability/Umbrella on mono-line basis
Coastal Counties
  • All coastal counties require additional or supporting lines of business to meet minimum premiums and non-cat balances
